It’s funny how looming school reunions make you reminisce about the way things were. Friendships from my childhood is one of those things for me. I was a flitterer while I was at school (yes, totally a word in my vocab) and I fluttered between friends constantly.

Thankfully I did grow up and abandoned my flittery ways, and as I matured in life and in faith, my friendships have matured as well. Now when I look at the friends I have in my life,  I marvel at how diverse these people are and I am so grateful that many of these relationships have stood the test of time and distance.

God gives us so many truths in his word about what sort of friends we should be, and it’s always a good thing to remind ourselves of these.

So, print this out, cut it up and hang it where you like! Mine are going straight to the littlest room in the house, where we have a growing collection of bible texts and truths on the back of the door.

I think we all ‘flittered’ :)
I read this text this week: “A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.” Proverbs 15:1
Made me think about the importance of our words with friends!
Hope to see you at the reunion ;)
